Lets just share our views on how we are with our parents and how are they with us.
IF they are strict then why, and if you think they aren't then is that good or bad?

My parents are not at all strict, they are just too good to me, i think thats good as it creates a sense of friendship with your parents and you get to know them better and they get to know you better, you dont hide anything you do and you discuss more often whats going around you.

i have been away from my parents almost all my life, boarding school, then college and university in UK and now still working abroad, i miss my parents a lot, they are like heaven to me when i meet them...

blessing in disguise, thats what parents are, i have an association more with my dad than my mom, he is really my best friend, a companion of sorts and i can talk to him about anything at all.

I have only my mom and my dad expired when i was just 5, its so hard to have memories of your dad, vague memories that you know there was a loving person who could have been strict and yet loving, i miss my dad !!

Ohh thats sad to hear akki, but yeah you must be taking care of the family then, and it must be very difficult for you to have been going through all this yourself and more so it would have been difficult for your mother who raised you all alone.

For me my parents are my everything. Especially my father, he is my friend as well as my mentor. Parents are ones who guide you through different phases of your life. When you in trouble and no one stand by you, look carefully you will always find your parents standing right next to you.

I love my parents a lot and I really care about them
they have given everything to me which I asked them and which I didn't ask as well, they have made a better person in giving love to others, but I feel I am not able to help them in all the ways I could, I am working on a few plans if I am successful I really believe I can help my parents are who are already on the next stage of the life, its a time for them to rest happily to see their kid doing good

I spent very less time with my parents as my mom n dad both are working and i spent some years outside for studies and work.

can we talk about livin relationships and all that

Very true taneez, parents play a very imp role in our life.they r background players & huge supporter for us. sumtime we think they r strick but haaa that is again for our good.They play a real role of GOD, as v say that we cant & never c god, but we r fool god is every time with us in role of parents, they are just like our shadow...........
