Often the young dads of this generation are so busy with work life and career that they do not get to spend much time with and for their kids. One would argue that the family needs money to lead a happy life but often the kids look for more from a father. Here are a few tips that would make you a great father in spite of being busy.

Make your children feel loved in small ways. Even if you are busy and traveling make a phone conversation to show that you care about your children.

It is easier to make the children happy by giving them what ever teh y want but, you will end up with a spoilt brat, so ensure that children gets only what they really need and understands the value of money.

Always keep a promise, try to have a small repetitive tradition for the whole family, like a family outing every month or a weekly dinner in a favorite restaurant. This will ensure the kids feel the security of knowing that on that special day, they will have their father with them.

Have a close knit extended family or group of friends on whom you and the children can depend in case of any emergency. Have rules in the house. But also be little flexible with them according to the situation.

A father is the first role model of a young child. You owe it to your child and his whole development process to be a good father.
