Default Sexual Encounter at the age of 14

Last night i was speaking to one of my friend who's was worried about her younger sister who had an sexual encounter with her classmate at the age of 14. Which in turn made my friend annoyed and restless. She was so much worried and annoyed about the incident that in turn she slapped her sister followed by some more physical assault. According to her this is not the age to go for any such activity and which is correct up to some extend. According to me my friend is correct with the thinking but not behaving correctly, the thing which has already happened can not be changed like that and there is no joy in beating anyone now. There are several other ways to make it fine or to educate the teenager who is just trying to explore each n everything which comes in her way. May be she never got proper guidance at her home or from friends or may be she found a social circle which made her mind like that.

Whatever the case is but beating can not resolve the issue, the thing which can be done is proper education and helping her to come out of that.

Will update this space soon and looking for your comments too.

Well teenage is the period where everyone try to explore everything around themselves.. Be it nature, Relationships, Your body also.. Beating is obviously not the solution, IMO this make him/her aggresive.. Proper guidance and talk is the option..

Well maybe i think what your friend did was wrong, i agree to that, she shouldn't have physically assaulted her, but well maybe she was just too angry and right on her part, but yeah TALKING OUT should have resolved all issues.

I consider this topic as one of the highlights of being HIGH TIME that people start understanding that beating up or hitting the child will not force him/her to learn anything, theres no way a child should be beaten. Please talk to them, make them understand with examples and please just help them understand.

this happened with one of my cousins too, and her mom beat her up like hell when they came to know what she did, she was jus 19 and it is really embarassing that your daughter has done such a thing, u cant blame the parents but then someone needs to be around to control the matters.

beating is not a solution, i think talking out would have been better or better guidance before all this would have been just the real deal, all parents should sit down and talk to their children at a particular age so that they would never do something like this..

We should not be dragging this post anymore, this has been done to death now, i think talking solves all issues but as hema said rightfully here that the parents should have actually talked to her before hand.
