Within these online communities, users share status updates, tweet , self-generated media, journal entries and other interpersonal communication with an ever-growing network of online friends .Networks such as twitter, Facebook, myspace, Google + are the most discussed ones these days. People consider such social networks as substitutes for real life relationship .These sites have revolutionized interpersonal relationships. Relationships that are formed on such networking sites are mostly not reliable out of 10 only 1 of such relationships prolong. Although such sites are one of the best ways in maintaining old relations like friends from old schools etc .Such networks boost up relations. Their purpose is also to reinforce established friendships and form bonds with new friends. However such networks do help people to interact with new people from different parts of world with different sets of mind but they do not help to make genuine close relationships. Even though social network sites can increase our social interaction with our circles by posting information to multiple people but to develop a true relationship we need to see whether the other person is trustworthy which is not possible through such networking sites as it is very easy to be deceptive on internet because in real life people pretend to be what they are not deceive us then how can one guarantee about a person whom she or he has not seen.
Relationships on such networks are mostly casual while a true relationship requires concerns, care and a deeper personal connection. Although we can say that other relationships that are formed apart from such networks have also grown stronger due to high interaction on such networks. The continuous updates about the mood swings or hang outs lets people connect more closely. The comment, retweeting, like, follow part plays a vibrant role in strengthening relationships which develops bonds of being liked, admired or adored. Although the time being surfed in finding relationship through a network can be utilized in forming real life relationships .One of the major draw back of such networks is isolation from real life relations.
Lastly social networks are beneficial for socializing but are not definitely meant for making relationships as relationships are bonds of reliability, love, solidarity and most of regular interaction.
