Always running late to shift, jumping red lights, over speeding, drinking and driving, puffing sutta on bike that's what most of us do. If you are really one of these then next time watch out for a cop chasing you on brand new Bajaj Pulsar 180cc Bike.

This is a new concept introduced by Delhi police commissioner Y.S. Dadwal. Which is named as Chase and Challan. DTP (Delhi Traffic Police) has added 200 new Bajaj Pulsars in its Motorcycle Squad which will keep patrolling in city for traffic violators and will challan them on the spot.

In addition to this S.N. Shrivasatava, Joint Commissioner of Police said that Delhi roads are about to get a large number of cameras installed on all major crossings, roads and markets to give surprise to traffic violators. Most of the Central Delhi Roads are already filled up by this Delhi Traffic Police Motorcycle squad, today in morning while driving from Patel Nagar to Okhla Industrial Estate I saw 3 vehicles being chased and challaned on the spot, without any questions asked.

This is one of the best move by Delhi Traffic Police and it is already showing up its effect. I hope it will give a fine touch to Delhi Traffic and your views are welcome here.

Delhi Traffic Police has launched a dedicated phone number for TSR (auto/ taxi) complaints

To Complaint against auto/ taxi you can sms on 56767
To Complaint against auto/ taxi you can call on 23010101 from Mobile (01123010101)
New TSR Auto Rickshaw complaint number 42400400 from Mobile (01142400400)

For the complaint of refusal , just write "REF" followed by registration number of TSR (Auto Rickshaw) followed by Location and time and just SMS to 56767. Similarly, for over-charging use word "OVC" for misbehavior "MIB" and for harassment "HAR".

Just got another update regarding auto wallas, if any auto drivers over charge you or tells that meter is faulty or anything like that then you can always call 100 to file a complaint against him, once you log a complaint on 100 number it will cost INR. 600 to auto wala which he will never like to pay.
