DIEGO MARADONA: A Coach is a Coach
Argentina has won the hearts of football fans with their thrilling game. After scraping through the qualifiers, the Argentine team has rediscovered themselves topped in their group and heightened the football fever.
In his number 10 jersey, Messi has given rise to a mesmerism that has no equivalent. But even over the superstar, shines another person, the one and only Diego Maradona.
Considered the best player of all times, the player touched by the 'hand of God' shows a new face in South Africa 2010. Wearing formal suits and silk ties, the coach of Argentine team, literally bobs up and down in the stadium. Jumping and punching the air with each exciting pass, looking sullen and shouting in anger, the coach has drawn the attention of the world to him and his team again.
Maradona loves his players and can be seen hugging and kissing every one of them before and after each match. He adds to the team spirit by being democratic in his ways and discusses everything with his assistants.
Fans admire and wonder at his obvious genius tinged with eccentricity that has really worked like a charm on his team. He chose his team from team players. His players are playing for the team rather than for themselves which can be seen from the fact that Messi sets up goals for other forwards and has no goals to his own name till the second round (keeping fingers crossed and expecting more from next game)
