The Bangalore police arrested "Sex Swami" Nithyananda in Himachal Pradesh's Solan district.Here is the Press note issued by rthe banglore police on his arrest:

A team of karnataka State CID with the active co-operation of Himachal Pradesh poloice, took into custody Swamy Nithyananda in Solan District of Himachal Pradesh.Along with Sri Nithyananda Swami,Sri Nithya Bakthananda and Gopla Seelam Reddy has also taken into custody. Both these persons are wanted in connection with two cases registered at Bidadi Police station.Both the persons are being produced before the local Magistrate and after securing body warrent, they will be brought to Bangalore.
