I think there should be a permanent ban on smoking. OH MY GOD i so much hate people who smoke that i would rather fine a $100 on every one who smoked a cigarette and shoot them on sight. anyways not being harsh but seriously this is polluting the environment, killing yourself and then making the environment bad for the future generation.

Yes i hate smoking, i really hate anyone who smokes, it should be banned. I dont understand why anyone would smoke and know that this is killing and still smoke, even my brother smokes and i just hate it.

Smoking!! I don't really understand why people smoke. Smoke is something that badly affects your health. Then why do people smoke? It should really be banned. Because the person who smokes not only damage his health his smokes affects people around him to.

I try to avoid smokers if I can

smoking in a chilly region such as Kashmir is understandable but smoking in a rare chill region or in a hot temperature tests my nerves

In India, I don't see these fines make an impact on any one, little bribe can get u off, the constable would be more than happy to leave you for rs.50 rather than written fine of rs.200 or odd

govt. should impose heavy taxes on tobacco may be even up to 50%, only then we can see a reduction no. of smokers

Smoking is not really bad if you know how and where to smoke, obviously i am not in support of smoking in public but still once you start it its bit difficult to leave this habit till it comes to your life or any other serious issue.

I know its tough to leave some addictive habit but you must make an effort to stop smoking slowly, in life nothing comes easy mate

Its not about spreading cancer dude, its just another way to enjoy evenings. Who is asking them to smoke everyday or 24x7, if you smoke once in a month or so then it can not harm you in any case

I hardly care about population control, people will do what they feel and I don't have powers to control emotions of others, if i will get powers then first i will try to give home to millions of child laborers who are working in thousands of factories, homes & dhaba's.

child labor is a big problem agreed, I am making efforts from my end to help a few at least
now, do u know how many children are affected by the smokers, directly because of the parents or because of strangers at public places

once people start to smoke more than 80% get addicted to it, one or two here and there might be able to control themselves but not all especially those who are new to smoking

if people want to smoke let them smoke is a room where no one is around and probably other friends who might smoke, but not the innocent
