Green tea is treated more as a medicinal involvement than as a beverage. Even though made from the same plant that is used to make the normal tea, green tea is treated differently. The widespread acclaim of Green tea has resulted in it being available in recenty years at almost every shop or mall.

Green tea is also claimed to lower the risks of Alzheimer's disease and reduce the stress levels. The presence of higher amounts of anti-oxidants in green tea is said to give a glowing and wrinkle free skin. While drinking green tea, it is better to avoid adding milk. On the other hand, addition of a small amount of lemon juice is said to improve qualities of the tea. Lemon juice adds to the vitamin content also. It is claimed that use of green tea in place of coffee will be healthier. |
