You think that acquiring things will make you feel secure, but the reality is that the more you have the more fear there usually is of losing it, and the further you are from peace. Unreasonable desires are the cause of all conflicts. When you want something and cannot get it you become frustrated. We are born, we live, then we die. That's for you, me and all of us. In fact we don't even know we are going to be alive in the next minute. So, when we go, how will we be remembered? Will we be remembered? Who will care? If you have children, will they care how you lived your life? Everyone's life has something to teach everyone, any one. What to do, What not to do? What will be your legacy? Life seems to go faster as we got older and hopefully wiser. The longer we live, the less time we have left. Many work hard for their Dream Home and Car. For me I have learnt what is more important is the quality relationship, developing good relationship and collecting memorable experiences. These have brought me more joy and happiness than material things. These are what I treasure most. Make your life a masterpiece. You have total control of your life. Don't even consider blaming anyone or any thing or any circumstances. You are in control, whether you realize it or not. You can change your thoughts. Your life is a journey. Each day is a step in your journey. Plan your life and then develop your projects to make them happen.

A Powerful Force Love is a powerful force. It can take us to great heights and leave us feeling light and airy. Yet it has been the most abused and misused force. Many degraded things pass for love. True love is based on understanding, mutual trust and respect and not simply on transient emotions. Love is being in balance, that is, in harmony with the self, God and each other. Love dwells in the soul. We must allow this love to flow out and around us. Without love, all of life's treasures are locked away from our vision and experiences, for indeed 'love is the key.' Daily Decisions What I am experiencing at this moment is the result of choices and decisions made in the past; what I will experience in the future depends on choices and decisions I make now. Happiness is a daily decision. Sweet Words A bitter tongue makes life bitter, a sweet tongue makes life better.

Positive Attitude Your attitude creates an atmosphere around you. Your attitude is the result of the way you think and feel. You communicate your attitude. Create a positive attitude, filled with good feelings, and even just your presence will do wonders in situations Greed Diamond alone can cut another diamond and a thorn alone will have to be used to remove another thorn. The tendency to be greedy can be cured by another facet of greed. We can be greedy to acquire knowledge, a deep desire to develop, politeness, straightforwardness and peacefulness. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THAI LOGIC Is considered rude to put Baht banknotes in a wallet that sits in the back pocket, as this allows someone to sit on the image of the king, which is considered highly disrespectful. (Queen, please note). Similarly, stepping on a Baht banknote (or coin) is considered disrespectful. Some shops in Thailand, especially in rural areas, display low-denomination banknotes in front of the shop, both as a charm for wealth and out of respect for the king.

Hi ALL, as usual I got a very interesting and pertinent response from my friend Derek.
Everything we perceive depends upon our view. We think things exist outside our mind, but in reality everything we perceive is within our mind…that is why when people look at something or hear something the object appears differently to each person. We may have a common experience of liking say a piece of music or a particular scene, but we still perceive it from a different standpoint. The same object can appear horrible to one and nice to another, which clearly indicates that we are perceiving different objects. The object is an appearance to our mind and does not exist separately from our mind. If there was no mind there would be no object and vice versa. This is why it is so important to watch what view we are generating towards living beings and inanimate objects and change negative views to positive views. Derek

I thoughtYour spouse decides which type of person you will be!) Good Relationships In order to create good relationships think about what you have to learn from others. With your eyes, look into good qualities of others. With your words, recognise, value and appreciate their accomplishments. With your actions, cooperate and do something for others. Never break four things in your life. TRUST, RELATIONSHIP, PROMISE AND A HEART…..because when they break they don’t make any noise but cause a lot of pain! Few media in India write obituaries for legendary classical singers like Gangubai Hangal and DK Pattamal. Michael Jackson’s funeral is shown live on Indian television - (Vishwa Mohan Bhatt) Useful Things Remember only useful things and there will be no need to even think about forgetting anything painful.
