End users of computing equipment
As more and more people are required to use computers as part of their jobs, ends user organisations are generating more computer jobs to support these day-to-day activities to modify systems, to investigate new ones, to train users, to specify new equipment needs and to interact with suppliers. Consequently, most medium to large-sizes organisations now have a specialised information systems or Information Technology department where previously they relied on external expertise from consultants or manufacturers. End user organisations embrace all types of employers in both the public and private sectors.
