I work in a Gurgaon based BPO from last 3 years, in first year of my employment i never faced this issue but now from last 18 months or so i am suffering from serious indigestion problem. Most of the times i feel puckish after dinner (even if i had nothing since morning), sometimes i vomit after 15-30 of having food and get some burps too after vomiting (after which i feel relaxed) and this is not the case with me only, i know number of people who are facing the same issue.

Hi Geeta,
first let me tell you the usual causes of indigestion. * Improper eating habits * Eating a lot of fried foods, meat, sweets, heavy foods and overeating * Eating incompatible food items * Eating at irregular times * Eating before the last meal is fully digested * Eating very quickly or mixing too many foods in one meal * Consuming too much tea, coffee and alcohol * Smoking * Staying up late · * Emotional disturbances (stress, grief, anxiety) * Taking drugs like antibiotics, painkillers and steroids. In your case, i think its probably because of irregular meals. try to take all 3 meals of the day with a minimum interval of 3- 4 hours. and do not miss your breakfast. Avoid fried and spicy food, coffee/tea, carbonated drinks, alcohol/smoking for a few days.. In case your problem still persists consult your family doctor for medication and to rule out any other condition. take care.. |
