Hi Prerna
This is a question that hopefully you can answer for me. When i check out my BMI scores online , it says select frame , from small , medium to large frame. Could you tell me what these mean ? How can I figure out what frame mine is. Thanks in advance Ruby |

Hi Ruby,
Body Frame suggests the height and bone structure of a person. The easiest way to calculate is by measuring your wrist circumference and comparing it with your height. Women - Wrist Sizes for Frames Height under 5' 2" Height 5' 2"-5' 5" Height over 5' 5" Small -- Under 5.5" Less than 6.0" Less than 6.25" Medium -- 5.5" - 5.75" 6" - 6.25" 6.25" - 6.5" Large -- over 5.75" over 6.25" over 6.5" But the best way to calculate you BMI is by a simple calculation - Weight in kg divided by square of your height in metres. BMI = kg / m2 Body Mass Index BMI CLASSIFICATION Less than 18.5 Underweight 18.5 – 24.9 Normal 25 – 29.9 Overweight 30 – 34.9 Class I OBESITY 35 – 39.9 Class II Obesity Over 40 Class III Obesity Take Care! |
