Attrition is the biggest challenge for any BPO, this is really strange that the industry which claims to give employment to more than one million people in 2008-2009 is under fear of 20-30% attrition.
There are number of reasons to attrition in BPO's like

2. Health Problems
3. Voice Processes
4. Other Growth Opportunities
5. Mis-behavior of Management/ Boss
6. Changing career path
7. Reallocation
8. work environment
these are few of the basic points i am adding in poll, still there are number of other reasons of attrition.
Attrition Rate in few Leading BPO's
- Infosys BPO 28%
- Wipro BPO 18%
- TCS BPO 21-22%
- Tesco HSC has seen a 6% drop in attrition
where it was about 40% in 2007.
